Does Volusia County Video Tape Inmates Using The Toilet or Changing Clothes?

VolusiaExposed is keenly aware that the Volusia County Jail does have surveillance cameras. The recent Inmate Gary Enckler use of force incident gave us clear evidence that the jail has a rather sophisticated video surveillance system.

VolusiaExposed has also been advised that this video surveillance system also has cameras in the jail booking area, to include the inmate shower / dress out area. (Unconfirmed - at this time)

Obviously, we wonder if Volusia County is also video taping inmates while they are using the toilet, taking a shower or changing their clothes.

With that thought in mind, we are making a public record request for some Volusia County jail videos. We will let you know if anything develops.
