In 2001 a Volusia County Sheriff Deputy was arrested
for exposing himself and performing simulated sex acts on two pre-teen girls (10 and 12 years of age). He was only sentenced to only 5 years of probation. Is this just another example of law enforcement officers receiving special consideration?

Upon sentencing, this ex-deputy was only sentenced to five years of probation. Did he have to register as a sex offender? -- apparently not. Is this just another example how Volusia County protects their own?
