Why will the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigate
a suicide of a police officer's girl friend,

Recently it was stated in a local media article that Daytona Beach Police Department requested that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigate the apparent suicide of a girl friend of a DBPD officer. Apparently DBPD requested the assistance of FDLE due to several questions of a "poor" investigation of the matter by DBPD. Further, there were several possible conflict of interest matters attached to the DBPD investigation.

VolusiaExposed.Com is left wondering why Volusia County does not request FDLE to review several in custody jail death investigations? There appears to be several instances of conflict of interest attached to these deaths.

We invite you to review the Jones conflict - whereas VCSO Major Robert Jones is apparently in charge of the criminal investigative services of VCSO and his spouse Nancye R Jones is an Assistant County Attorney. Don't Assistant County Attorneys have the responsibilities to reduce civil liability on the county, to possibly include any liability attached to these jail deaths?

Further, VolusiaExposed.Com has concerns that the Major Case Investigative Unit of the VCSO has possibly blurred some of the facts surrounding these jail deaths. In the particular, we invited our readers to review the documentation on the Nelson, Veira and Comeau death investigations.
